Issue one credential or a CSV batch
An issuer selects a published achievement, adds the recipient details, and can include evidence such as a short narrative or a public HTTPS reference. For larger groups, the workspace accepts a CSV batch of up to 100 rows and reports the result for each recipient.
Each issued credential is a signed snapshot associated with the organization’s issuer identity. Vitni encrypts recipient email and organization-side metadata in issuer records. The signed credential uses a hashed email as its recipient reference and can include an optional recipient name.
- Single-recipient issuance
- CSV issuance with per-row outcomes
- Optional credential expiration and evidence

Send a claim link by email
The mail worker places credential and claim messages in an outbox and sends them through the configured SMTP relay. Issuers can see the delivery state. SMTP must be configured in a deployment before messages can leave the system.
A recipient claim link is single use and expires after seven days. Claiming requires a signed-in account with the same verified email address that received the award. Claimed credentials appear in a separate recipient dashboard and do not grant access to the issuer workspace.

Correct or renew while keeping an audit trail
A correction or renewal creates a new signed credential and records a reason. A correction revokes the earlier credential and queues a new claim email. A renewal gives the replacement its own validity period; the earlier credential keeps its existing validity and revocation state.
Recipients can open the public credential presentation, download the signed JSON-LD, copy or share its link, and use the QR code or print-ready certificate view. The signed credential remains the authoritative record.
